Appearance Release (Agent/Fee) Is used for anyone that you will film for your production and has a manager or agent who want the likeness and usage terms defined.
Area Release is used in an area in which you are filming so that people coming in and out of the shot will know they are filmed. It is better to get an Appearance Release for those appearing in your production but not always practical. No one will have to sign this document and it should be enlarged to put on a poster and placed in several locations at your shoot location. It needs to be printed big enough for people to notice and read. This release cannot replace the need for talent appearance releases.
Artwork Release is a document whereby a producer hires an artist to create artwork or uses preexisting artwork to specifically to be used in the production. This is most likely in the form of set dressing. Can be both paid and unpaid usage.
Background Talent Release (FEE) is used for any background talent that you will film for your production. Typically these people appearing in your production will not have speaking lines.
Confidentiality Agreement allows a producer to have a third party keep certain information confidential that may be acquired by the third-party providing rights or services to a production. For example, the crew to a production may find out how the grand finale ends in a series and the producer will want that information kept confidential.
Crew Deal Memo is an agreement that sets up terms of payment for a crew member. This is a shorter form agreement to the ICA and can be used on smaller project that don’t need as many legal terms. Or can be provided to companies to get a written agreement for payment terms rather than a verbal agreement in potential hires.
